Hey, great tips for going green this halloween! I wish halloween was celebrated in Australia more, it’s a bit of a non-event here, most people grow up without ever experiencing it… Where I live currently is the first place I’ve ever seen it practised in 31 years!

@Ross – You can celebrate on your own! Just dress up and ask for candy door-to-door, ha!
@Justin – Totally!

Thanks for the links Carla!
One thing I’ve always liked about Halloween is that what kids get doesn’t depend on their family’s financial situation. Even if a kid has a crappy costume, she’s going to get just as much candy as all the other kids. Though, as a Mom, I would be happier with less candy

@Kim – I would be less happier with less candy (for myself!) was well.

Hi Carla: I think recycling costumes, from your first link, is a great idea. Kids can exchange costumes with their cousins and siblings. Using a perfectly good costume only once is such a waste.

Hello, I have just started up a blog website and I’ve started making somewhat diverse articles. Do you object if I write about this article? Obviously I will provide you and this site full credit.
